Answer: Annexation, the forcible appropriation of an area, with the intention of permanent occupation.

Explanation:

The name is also sometimes used when acquiring force-free areas based on international treaties. Throughout history, this has been a widespread occurrence. Sometimes, in the circumstances of war, entire states were called in and sometimes only certain parts were called. In this case, we can provide some known examples of annexation throughout history. Thus, Germany annexed Yugoslavia during World War II, Belgium annexed the Congo, Austria - Hungary annexed Bosnia at the end of the nineteenth century, American annexation of Texas, and so on.

Since the annexation of the territories is intended to exploit a specific space for its purposes, and the sake of economic benefit and territorial expansion, many historians, do not have a favourable opinion of this phenomenon. Either way, these phenomena are an integral part of the past of the human race.

What was one result of the First Great Awakening?
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

Changed the way people thought about their relationship with the God. A religious revival.

Explanation:

In the 1700s, a European philosophical movement, called the Enlightenment, swept America. Also called the Age of Reason, this era laid the foundation for a scientific, rather than religious, worldview. Freedom of conscience was at the heart of this struggle against old regimes and old ways of thinking, and it changed the way people viewed authority. In the same way, a religious revival, called the Great Awakening, changed the way people thought about their relationship with the divine, with themselves and with other people. The Enlightenment engaged the mind, but the Great Awakening engaged the heart.
