History is by far my favorite subject in school. It is challenging learning new information. So, the challenge is well worth it for several reasons. First, it's great to learn about inspirational figures from the past. Today we learned about Abraham Lincoln, who guided America through the Civil War. Second, I get to see how the past has influenced our lives today. Therefore history helps us all learn to not make the same mistakes that were made in the past. Lastly history helps us grow and learn. There are just three of the reasons I can't wait for for history class.
The ideas which were important was the discrimination and the segregation. This is because the story deals with the narration of the African American family so they are often victim of the discriminatory and the other related practices.
After reading the book, it gave a clear picture of the situation of the African American people living there. It helped in understanding the entire scenario where the practices of discrimination are done against the family.
Prewriting is a good practice. Writing it out is another one. Not a good practice is not knowing what your going to write about
