For question 1)
Line A's Gradient= -1
y=-x+5 where 5 is the y-intercept
Line B's Gradient= 1
y=x+3 where 3 is the y-intercept
By equating two equations....
-x+5=x+3
2x+3=5
2x=2
x=1
1 solution
For question 2) answer would be the first option

If f(x) = 3x + 1 and f^-1 = x-1/3 , then the ordered pair of f(3) =
Basile [38]

Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 3x + 1

f^-1 = x-1/3 , it is known as inverse function.

f(3)= 3*3 +1

=9+1

=10

To find inverse,

x=3x + 1

y=3x+1

Exchanging the position or x and y

x=3y+1

x-1=3y

.•. y=x-1/3

What value of x6x=322 makes the following equation true?

6x=322
olga nikolaevna [1]

The value of x that makes the equation 6x=322 true is x=53.67

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find the value of x that makes the equation 6x=322 true

The equation given is:

6x=322

Divide both sides by 6

6x/6=322/6

x=53.67

So, the value of x that makes the equation 6x=322 true is x=53.67

Nikolay [14]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

A. matched-pair t-test is used ot deterrmine whether two samples are different because sometihng has changed and there are two distributions or there is effectively one distribution. In this scenario only mean of two population is being compared and not the effect of any variable

B. two sample t-test is used to determine whether average between two groups is significantly different or not. In this scenario, mean values of two populatinos are being compared.

C. ANOVAD is used to determine whether means of three or more statistically independent groups are significantly different or not. In this scenario, we have only two groups.

D. Chi-squaed test is used to test relationships between two variables. In this scenario, no relationship is being tested.

E. Inference of regression is used to determine how one population of x-values is dependent on another population of y-values based on the each individual sample values. In this scenario, we are not comparing individual values of two population
