The answer is; B.

The resting potential of most neurons is usually -70mV. When depolarization begins and approximately the neuron is depolarized to approximately – 55mV to 50mV, an impulse is initiated in the neuron. This action potential is characterized by remarkably rapid depolarization that is cascaded down the neuron axon. Depolarization involves the  influx of sodium and potassium ions making the inside of the neuron cells less and less negative.

Drew observed in an experiment that algae in a nearby lake could be found at six meters below the water's surface on a clear day
Elenna [48]

Answer:

The depth at which Drew found the algae

Explanation:

The dependent variable was the depth at which he found the algae, because that is what he measured on each day.

The independent variable was the sky conditions, since that changed from clear to cloudy, which impacted the dependent variable/the depth of the algae.

14. Operons allow prokaryotes to
Vladimir79 [104]
14: Operons allow prokaryotes to replicate DNA at the appropriate time.

Operons are specific regions of genes that are linked to a singular process. They ensure that the expression of these genes does not go unchecked and only occurs when necessary. Two key examples of this in humans are the lac operon and trp operon.

15. The central dogma of molecular biology is:

DNA to RNA to Proteins

Protein Synthesis occurs in 3 steps.

First our DNA is translated into RNA. Next the RNA is sequenced into Amino Acids by reading the corresponding 3-Base Codons. These Amino Acid sequences form various protein structures.
