Thirteenth Amendment- Passed by Congress on January 31, 1865, and ratified on December 6, 1865, the 13th amendment abolished slavery in the United States and provides that "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States.

There is a very strong political division and it is still very uncertain to say that there may be a reunification of the country. This will depend on the parties and the approval of the population, with their vote. The fuse was last year, when there was a collapse between Grecians and Cyprian Turks, when such subject was brought to table. With Nico's government, stability and negotiation among partisans are expected.
