Why does the moon appear in different shapes throughout the month?
bazaltina [42]
Because it depends on the moons position in which it is revolving around the earth. The moon seems to get smaller as it moves back towards the sun then it goes dark and turns into a new moon. Which makes it look like the moon may appear in different shapes. Then the moon cycle restarts.
