The CD will worth in $2729.09 after 10 years.

Solution:

Principal (P) = $1500

Rate of interest (r) = 6%

                              $=\frac{6}{100}

                             = 0.06

Time (t) = 10 years

Compounded monthly

Number of times interest applied per time period

n = 12

A = Total amount

Compound interest formula:

$A=P\left(1+\frac{r}{n}\right)^{n t}

$A=1500\left(1+\frac{0.06}{12}\right)^{12\times 10}

$A=1500\left(\frac{12+0.06}{12}\right)^{120}

$A=1500\left(\frac{12.06}{12}\right)^{120}

A=2729.09

The CD will worth in $2729.09 after 10 years.

Rework problem 7 from section 3.2 of your text, about independent events A and B in a sample space S, but assume that Pr[A]=0.25
NikAS [45]

Answer:

A and B in a sample space S, but assume that Pr[A] = 0.25, Pr[B] = 0.15, and Pr[A∩ B] = 0.1.

Step-by-step explanation:

pr[A/B]=pr[AnB]/pr[B]=0.1/0.15=0.666

pr[B/A]=pr[BnA]pr[A]=0.1/0.25=0.4

A Pair of basketball shoes was originally priced at $80 but was Marked 37.5% what was the retail price of the shoe
kvv77 [185]
The retail price of the basketball shoe is $110 because 37.5% of $80 is $30. So, you add $80 to $30 and you get $110.

-15-2g+6g=1+6g please help me solve this problem please
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

g = -8

Step-by-step explanation:

Both the left and the right sides of this equation -15-2g+6g=1+6g include the term 6g.  Cancel these 6g terms.  This leaves us with:

-15 - 2g = 1

Next, add 15 to both sides, to isolate the -2g term:  -2g = 16

Solving for g via division by -2, we get:  g = -8

Is an increasing slope a positive slope?
love history [14]

Answer:  YESSS  A line is increasing if it goes up from left to right. The slope is positive.  A line is decreasing if it goes down from left to right.

Step-by-step explanation:    The concept of slope is very useful in economics, because it measures the relationship between two variables. A positive slope means that two variables are positively related—that is, when x increases, so does y, and when x decreases, y also decreases.
