The plot of a story is the main problematic engine that moves characters to act and react according to events that cause consequences that are to be assumed by the characters themselves. As such, the plot usually revolves around the theme of the story (that is to say, the main topic sustaining the story), which is to say, the plot is the setting in motion of the story´s theme.
