Before you put on that skeleton costume and rove door-to-door pandering for candy, take a minute to reflect on this tradition. H
katovenus [111]

Answer:

The main idea concerns the origins of Halloween.

Explanation:

In the passage itself, we can say the main idea is expressed by the sentence "Halloween is believed to have come from an ancient Celtic festival dating back some 2,000 years." The purpose of the passage is to explain the origins of Halloween by presenting readers with facts about where it began and how and why it was celebrated. It shows how our "candy fueled celebration" came from an ancient tradition.

I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!!!!
Bond [772]

Answer:

They are similar because they both were stranded on an icy mountain and had no way to go back home. It is presented in a differently fictionalized way because they thought they were going to find a mythical river leading to somewhere secret but it turned out to be a lie and they didn’t find the river. The effect that the different presentation had on the reader was that the reader could’ve thought this was a true story but it actually wasn’t.

I need a paragraph on how social media is good for teens in terms of entertainment. Help and I might give you brainliest if it’s
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

Social media is a big part of many young people’s social and creative lives. Social media is becoming increasingly embedded in apps, games, websites and even learning environments, so it’s hard to ban, even for younger children. And if you ban social media, your child might be more tempted to check it out when they’re away from home. This means you miss the opportunity to teach your child how to navigate social media risks and behave respectfully on social media.

Children and teenagers use social media to have fun, make and maintain friendships, share interests, explore identities and develop relationships with family. It’s an extension of their offline and face-to-face interactions. For older teenagers especially, it’s often a key part of how they connect with friends.

Social media can connect children and teenagers to online global communities based on shared interests. These might be support networks – for example, for young people with disability or medical conditions, teenagers, or children from particular cultural backgrounds. Or they might be sites for commenting on and sharing content about particular interests like games, TV series, music or hobbies.

On the other hand,in order to keep your teen kid safe, try by blocking and reporting people they don’t know or people who post upsetting comments or content.

Which method of delivery is least effective?
Iteru [2.4K]
I believe that the most fitting answer for this question would be A, reading from the script. I remember I gave a speech one time and I read almost entirely from a page that I had written beforehand. It was judged as much weaker as a speech that I had memorized beforehand. In addition, varying your delivery can add interest and keep your audience engaged. Notecards are more effective than reading from a script, as you will not be reading word-for-word and will only be using your notecards as jumping-off points. Hope this helps.
