ioda

Answer:

A. Increased tensions between the North and South

Explanation:

The North viewed Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry to be the actions for their cause, and wrote them as heroes and martyrs. On the other hand, the South believed that Brown's raid was detrimental to their life styles (being heavily dependent on slaves), and that his actions may lead to unintended consequences.
