2. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) : reduce the risk of injuries and deaths from consumer products by: developing voluntary standards with industry. issuing and enforcing mandatory standards; banning consumer products if no standard would adequately protect the public.

3. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) : enforce the provisions of the Federal Trade Commission Act, which prohibits "unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce." The Clayton Antitrust Act (1914) also granted the FTC the authority to act against specific and unfair monopolistic practices.

4. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) :responsible for protecting the public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, the Nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation

5. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) : responsible for keeping people safe on America's roadways. Through enforcing vehicle performance standards and partnerships with state and local governments, NHTSA reduces deaths, injuries and economic losses from motor vehicle crashes.
