You’d be surprised. There are articles and evidence out there that shows abuse towards the disabled. Just look up abuse in nursing/elderly homes. It’s disgusting. And there are debates over whether we should treat mentally handicapped people equally to “normal” people (like, should we pay them the average wages as normal people?). It’s sad, but this hate is still here.
