No it does not. Any function that has any of the same X vaules (The line going up left to right) is not a function.

Answer:

The graph doesn't represent a function.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided graph.

A graph is said to be a function if for each value of x we can get different y value or each input (x) has a single output (y).

Now, observe the graph.

The value x = -5 is related to more than one value of the y.

For x = -5 we have different y values.

For example (-5,0), (-5,1), (-5,2),(-5,3) all these values satisfy the graph. Thus the graph is not a function.

We can prove it by a vertical line test.

Vertical line test: If a vertical line intersects the graph more than once, then the graph is not a function.

Now if we draw a vertical line at x=-5 it will intersect the graph more than once, therefore, the provided graph is not a function.

Hence, the graph doesn't represent a function.

In APQR, what is the m2Q? Enter your answer in the box.
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

m<Q = 105

Step-by-step explanation:

All triangle angles add up to 180:

11x - 5 + 6x + 5 + x = 180

18x = 180

x = 10

m<Q:

11x - 5

11(10) - 5

110 - 5

105

Find the answer to <br> (x + y + 2)( y + 1)
mrs_skeptik [129]
I assume the question asks to expand the expression to individual terms.
There are different ways to approach this, all based on FOIL or similar methods.
I prefer to split it into two parts, as follows:
(x+y+2)(y+1)
=x(y+1)+(y+2)(y+1)
=xy+x+y^2+3y+2
