Why does Mr. Butler say that the Great Depression affected him more than the Civil War?
kipiarov [429]

Mr. Butler says that the Great Depression affected him more than the Civil War because for him it the end of the country of the opportunities. For him the most heartbraking things were the thousands of people living on the streets with no job, no home, no food, the schools and churches being transformed into refuges for thousans of people. This were the matters that really affected him instead of the war itself.

Explain why a market or mixed economy is the best match for the United States.
Ber [7]
Mixed economy allows the producers to have freedoms like what to make. In this economy, the government also gets to set reatrictions to protect their citizens. Market would not be appropriate because there are not any constrictions on what can and cannot be made so things like weapons could freely, carelessly be distributed.

Trava [24]

Answer:

b. gathering at a peaceful protest in front of a government building

Explanation:

RIGHT OF ASSEMBLY;

The citizens shall have the right, in a peaceable manner, to assemble together for their common good; and apply to those invested with the powers of government for redress of grievances or other purposes, by petition, address or remonstrance.

The First Amendment prohibits government from abridging "the right of the people peaceably to assemble." People are entitled to assemble and to speak and be heard, as long as they remain nonviolent.

Example of this rights includes

Hosting a party, having a board game night with the neighbors, or even going to church are all freedom of assembly examples. The difference, however, is that freedom of assembly protects those whom the government believes may “cause trouble” when they get together.

Which is an example of an influence of Judaism and Christianity?
dybincka [34]
An example of an influence of Judaism and Christianity is Gothic architecture. Gothic architecture was first used in Christian churches in Europe during medieval times as a substitute for Romanesque architecture. Gothic churches included large, decorative windows that allowed light come in during sermons, while Romanesque churches had small windows and were dimly lit.

Another influence of Judaism and Christianity are the Crusades. Christians (whose religion originated from Judaism) fought against Muslims in the Middle East during the medieval ages to take back what they saw as holy land, and these wars resulted in hostilities that still exist today.
