A) is not something unique to that style, making it an unlikely answer
B) is correct because that style is know for having so much color mashed together that it looks like a blob if you're standing too close
C) is also MOST LIKELY correct due to the fact that impressionistic styles are usually seen in whatever time period they were painted in
