Samulnori is a type of Korean percussion music, in which samul translates as "four object" and nori translates as "play". Samulnori is performed when the pungmul is play, which comprises of four Korean musical instruments. These four musical instruments include the jing (big gong), kkwaenggari (small gong), puk (barrel drum) and the Janggu or changgo (hourglass drum).
