Answer:

A poll tax could prevent someone from voting if they are too poor to be able to afford to pay the tax. A literacy test could be used if the person didn't have a formal education that taught them how to read.

Answer: Legislative Branch

Why?
The Ohio governor's term was for two years and he did not have the power to veto acts of the legislature. The veto is one of the biggest check and balances of government, it keeps the legislative branch in check without it the legislative branch can be considered TOO powerful.

American politician Barack Hussein Obama II presided over the country as its 44th president from 2009 to 2017. Obama was the first African-American president of the United States and a Democrat. Prior to joining politics, he practiced civil rights litigation before serving as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004 and as a U.S. senator representing Illinois from 2005 to 2008. He practiced civil rights law and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004 after earning his degree. From 1997 until 2004, when he decided to run for the U.S. Senate, he served as the 13th district's senator in the Illinois Senate. With his victory in the Senate primary in March, his well-received keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention in July, and his resounding victory in the Senate election in November, Obama gained widespread prominence in 2004.
