6/10 is the answer you're looking for. They are basically the same answer! 6/10 just hasn't been reduced yet! Hope this helps!

Here's something that explains it a little better than me:

According to my calculations, the LCM of the two denominators is 10. Therefore, since 5 goes into 10 a total of 2 times, you would multiply the top and bottom of the first fraction by 2. And since 10 goes into 10 a total of 1 times, you would multiply the top and bottom of the second fraction by 1.

Step #2: Now that the denominators are the same, you can simply compare the numerators to determine which fraction is greater. Since the numerators are the same, 6/10 is equal to 6/10. Therefore the 1st entry (3/5) is equal to the 2nd entry (6/10).

FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

are all lagging measures of performance

Explanation:

Return on investment, residual income, and economic value added are all lagging measures of performance.

When it comes to divisional performance measures, Return on investment (ROI), residual income (RI), and economic value added (EVA) are all lagging measures of performance they link objectives with performance and present a common basis on which all divisional or branch managers in a decentralized organization, are measured.

A lagging indicator of performance is any measurable or observable variable (performance), that changes after a change has occurred in a target variable (returns).

Hence these methods are lagging methods because a manager can only be said to have performed when such manager has generated returns, revenue or economic value.

43000-9000=34000

Second we have to divide the amount we got already by the estimated useful life

34000/8=4250 the dep amount for the first year

Every year we have to do the same process as shown above to get the dep exp amount
