Answer:

<h2>c = 2</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

\text{If}\ (x-a)\ \text{is a factor fo polynomial}\ w(x),\ \text{then}\ a\ \text{is a root of plynomial}\ w(x):\\\\w(a)=0.\\\\\text{We have}\\\\\text{the polynomial}\ p(x)=x^3-4x^2+3x+c\\\\\text{the factor of the polyniomial}\ p(x):(x-2)\\\\x=2\ \text{is the root of polynomial}\ p(x).\ \text{Therefore we have the equation:}\\\\2^3-4(2^2)+3(2)+c=0\\8-4(4)+6+c=0\\8-16+6+c=0\\-2+c=0\qquad\text{add 2 to both sides}\\c=2

Imagine two lines intersect. How can the properties of linear pairs and vertical angles help to determine the angle measures cre
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

A linear pair of angles is formed when two lines intersect. Two angles are said to be linear if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees, so a linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees. Vertical angles are two angles opposite from each other and those two angles are then equal.

Step-by-step explanation:

For example, if you took your typical graph with four quadrants your lines would intersect. The linear pairs are equal to 180 and the vertical angles are equal.

I don’t get it! It says “Match each division expression to it’s quotient.” So can anyone help with 1/12 / 1/6 ? Please!
natta225 [31]

We have two fractions being divided. When we divide two fractions, we flip the second fraction and multiply

1/12 divided by 1/6 = 1/12 * 6/1

-------

From here we multiply straight across.

The numerators multiply to get 1*6 = 6

The denominators multiply to 12*1 = 12

We end up with 6/12 which reduces to 1/2 when you divide both parts by the GCF 6

Your class is selling wrapping paper and candles. Rolls of paper sell for $7 and candles sell for $10 each. A total of 109 items
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

53 Rolls of paper and 56 Candles

Step-by-step explanation:

56 x $10 = $560

$7 x 53 = $371

$560 + $371 = $931

And 56 candles sold plus 53 rolls of paper sold equals 109 items sold
