The commutative property is just switched around, so 35×70=mx35
MX=70 so, 35×70=70×35
Glad I helped...

Answer:  70

Step-by-step explanation:

The commutative property of multiplication says that when we find a product of two numbers then it does not matter which number we write first or second.

i.e. the order of writing numbers in a product doesn't matter here.

The answer remains the exactly same.

i.e.  a\times b= b\times a  , where a,b are integers.

The given equation : 35\times70=m\times35

We can see that there is 30 in both sides , then by using commutative property of multiplication, 'm' should be 70.

hence, the unknown number : m= 70

Two gears are connected and are rotating simultaneously. The smaller gear has a radius of 2 inches, and the larger gear has a ra
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

Let r represent the radius of the smaller circle and R the radius of the larger circle.

Apply ratios: the radius of smaller circle to radius of larger circle, i.e.

r: R = 3 : 7.

I complete rotation = 360 degrees.

Part 1:

For one complete rotation of the smaller circle, the larger circle is rotated through: (3/7)*(360) = 154.3 degrees

Part 2:

For one complete rotation of the larger circle, the larger circle is rotated through: (7/3)*(360) = 840.0 degrees

This is equivalent to (840/360) = 2.3 rotations

Alternatively, use the ratios:

The number of rotations = R/r = 7/3 = 2.3 rotations
