The Schlieffen Plan is a battle plan proposed by the chief of the German general staff named Alfred Graf von Schlieffen in 1905. The plan is designed for Germany to declare a two-front war (a war that simultaneously happens in two different geographical locations of military fronts). For this plan, Germany is fighting against the battlefronts of France and Russia.
