The prompt you have been asked to write about is one about a Reflect3ive Speech. The purpose of a Reflective Speech is for the orator to give an account of their experience of a particular event AND how that event has shaped them.

How do you write a Reflective Speech?

It is to be noted that the question is asking the student to assume the role of a noble laureate. That means you may want to study some of the speeches that have been given by Nobel Laureates.

Every great speech must start with proper outlines. One of the easiest outlines to use is the I - MID - C format. I mean introduction. This section is critical because it helps you connect with the audience. One of the best ways to start your speech is to start with a hilarious story.

The next is the MID, which is the midsection or body of the speech.

Assuming you are doing 400 words, your introduction can be about 100. The body is about 200, then the conclusion is another 100.

The conclusion is where you summarize and restate your key points. Finally, get to know your audience beforehand and rehearse your speech over and over again until you are confident about it.

Vegetarians meet the nutrient requirements from eating from a variety of foods within different food groups (fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins). Although, No More Vegetarians claims vegetarians are not healthy because they do not meet protein requirements (Evans 22). Contrary to this book, vegetarians get adequate levels of protein through beans, tofu, legumes, and protein-rich grains. Furthermore, Tim Over, a nutritionist, has found that people who rarely consume meat in their diets are much less likely to become sick than those who regularly eat meat (Tim Over 66). For, plant foods are a reliable source of energy that the human body relies on to maintain proper health (Vegetarianism for Everyone 45). It is a well-known belief inside the nutrition field that vegetarianism is sustainable whilst being healthy.

Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

"The protagonist's main purpose is to be able to express herself as an American, due to the fact that she now lives in the United States. We learn that she is very happy to be able to express herself properly in this way when she says: "When I was done, I read over my words, and my eyes filled. I finally sounded like myself in English!" However, the protagonist also wants us to learn how her family's past has impacted their views, and the deep connection that she feels with her mother. This is obvious when the protagonists says that her mother tried to make her feel better after her fight with her father. We also learn that her mother was very supportive:

"“Go away,” I wailed, but we both knew I was glad she was there, and I needed only a moment’s protest to save face before opening that door."

Note this is not my answer but a answer that was proved correct. I do not own any of this answer. This person does
