(c)The new ruler Seku Amadu wanted to make it more modern mosques.

Seku Amadu appears to have disapproved of the existing mosque and allowed it to fall into disrepair. This would have been the building that Caillié saw. Seku Amadu had also closed all the small neighbourhood mosques.Between 1834 and 1836, Seku Amadu built a new mosque to the east of the existing mosque on the site of the former palace. The new mosque was a large, low building lacking any towers or ornamentation.

Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Du Bois: Who had the right strategy for black American?
GREYUIT [131]

Booker T Washington wanted African American citizens to move up in society to prove themselves worthy to have the same rights as everyone. As demeaning as this already is, it was a good strategy, but it would take a while. web Dubois wanted African American citizens to actively fight discrimination. He wanted them to stand up for their rights immediatly. This tactic worked so overall, Web DuBois had the better strategy as his tactics were used to create rights for African Americans in the United States. We see this in the civil rights movements in the 1900s where black Americans such as MLK put their voice out to share their concern about discrimination. in conclusion, Web DuBois had the better strategy.
