As immediate result of the civil war
Nitella [24]

Most of the immediate effects were the end of Slavery, but this was superseded with Sharecroppers. Sharecropper’s were freed African-American’s who rented land from a old plantation owner, and the Owner got a share of the crops. This system kept African-American’s in poverty, not really improving their situation by much. Another was the Union Army during reconstruction garrisoning the old south. A little later, during the Spanish-American war, Confederates were allowed to join into the U.S. Army.

What was the role of the printing press in the spread of new ideas? Two paragraph,
lesya [120]

Answer: It made it possible to produce books cheaper, so that more people could afford them. This made reading more common and also spread new information. The invention of the printing press helped all of the Protestant reformers, including John Calvin, to spread their messages quickly, cheaply, and efficiently. This allowed people who were not able to attend his church in person to hear, or rather read, his messages.

How would you describe bias and how would you say that bias affects your life
shutvik [7]
Hello!

Bias is simply when a person/group favors or disagrees with a certain thing, person, etc. For example, some news networks can be biased. Some may express favoritism towards a certain political candidate, whereas others broadcast unbiased facts and allow the audience to make its own decision.

The question above asks about how bias may affect your life. Perhaps some way that bias has impacted your life is the news you watch on television, the magazines you read, or even your friends expressing opinions. Consider some of these options when answering how bias affects you.

I hope this helps you!
