How did slavery support mercantilism in Great Britain?
Alborosie
Slavery was downright essential to mercantilism in eighteenth-century Great Britain. This was because mercantilism depended on the use of colonies to produce raw materials, particularly cash crops , for the mother country. These cash crops, with sugar being by far the most important, represented a major source of revenue for Great Britain.

What did the hernando de soto find in the new land? Native Americans? New types of crops?
aliya0001 [1]

When Soto visited what he found in the new land was Native Americans.

Who was hernando de soto?

This man was one of the explorers and he is the one that is known based on the fact that he conquered Peru. He existed at the time that the Americans were being conquered by the Europeans.

He is credited as the person that discovered the Mississippi. Hence When Soto visited what he found was Native Americans. De Soto had asked for help on how to set a course and guide for his army. He and his crew set to sail into Florida in the year 1539.

They made their first landfall at Tampa Bay on the 25th of May of the same year. They were known to have camped in a native village that is called Uzita by the manatee river.

He violated the ordinance that the king had given that the native people be treated well and also converted to Christianity. Instead he fought them, killed a lot and mutilated them.
