Have two sides to the story. for example you need an argument and a counter argument. so if you're opposing a situation then you need a basis and side of the story that expresses why you have this opposition and then another side that explains why you can see not to oppose what in fact you're opposing. So... If you were to write about abortion. weather or not you agree on t okay? so lets say you dont agree with it. ..Start with a good thesis statement or a question or even a quote. (i Like quotes to start) and then go into why you believe that you do not agree with it. give factual evidence that you found that makes you believe in your argument that it shouldn't be allowed. and then when it comes to finishing the assay. Explain after you explain why you dont believe in it.. then explain why you believe others may think abortion should be legal and exist and that it is okay and then for your conclusion restate your thesis and your final statement. "So this is why i believe abortion should be illegal" You have to give two sides to the paper for someone to be pursued-ed with your argument and to agree with you.
