You need to re-look at number

9.  The car went 4 meters in 4 seconds, so the speed would be 1 meter/sec.

10. To get an average you have to take all 3 data entries and add them together then divide by 3 (the amount of entries).  In this one, they were trying to be a little tricky by saying 2 hours at 40 km each.  The total is 3 hours, so we'll divide by 3 to get km/hour.  Let's do it!

80 + 40 + 40 = 160
160/3 = 53 1/3 km/hour

Answer: Null hypothesis: p\leq0.50

Alternative hypothesis: p>0.50

Step-by-step explanation:

  • A null hypothesis is a type of hypothesis that states that there is no difference between a particular parameter of a population whereas an alternative hypothesis states that there is a difference.

Given: p = Proportion of all marketing researchers who disapprove of the actions taken in the conflict of interest scenario.

n= 200

Sample proportion = \hat{p}=\dfrac{109}{200}=0.545

Claim : p>0.50

Null hypothesis: p\leq0.50

Alternative hypothesis: p>0.50
