Why do you think a poet might write a lyric poem?
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

yeah

Explanation:

Similar approaches to poetry were developed in other parts of the world. Between the fourth century B.C. and the first century A.D., Hebrew poets composed intimate and lyrical psalms, which were sung in ancient Jewish worship services and compiled in the Hebrew Bible. During the eighth century, Japanese poets expressed their ideas and emotions through haiku and other forms. Writing about his private life, Taoist writer Li Po (710–762) became one of China's most celebrated poets.

The rise of lyric poetry in the Western world represented a shift from epic narratives about heroes and gods. The personal tone of lyric poetry gave it broad appeal. Poets in Europe drew inspiration from ancient Greece but also borrowed ideas from the Middle East, Egypt, and Asia.

Types of Lyric Poetry

Of the three main categories of poetry—narrative, dramatic, and lyric—lyric is the most common, and also the most difficult to classify. Narrative poems tell stories. Dramatic poetry is a play written in verse. Lyric poetry, however, encompasses a wide range of forms and approaches.

how would american culture have been different in the automobille had not been affordable in the 1950's?
natka813 [3]

The "affordability" of the automobile in the 1950s changed American culture.

Affordability is in quotes because the automobile manufacturers did something tricky. They got the US government to pay for the building and maintenance of roads.

So, unlike the train system where the train companies have to build and maintain tracks, the auto makers only had to make the cars.

This reshaped our country, allowing roads and cars to become the primary means of transportation in the country. In turn, people could then live outside of cities allowing suburbs to be created and fast food restaurants to be invented for people in the car on the go.

How did American settlers view the territories in the West?
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

The territories were ready to be claimed.

Explanation:

In the late 1700's- early 1900's, the constantly pushing Western boundary of the U.S. was colonized by settlers. Most of them got their land from the Homestead act, which gave farmers who lived on a plot of land total ownership of said land for living there for a period of time. There were also rancher, miners, and companies using the land up for their expansion.
