In which country did the french and british fight in
strojnjashka [21]

<span>PRINT <span>CITE </span></span>

Also known as the Seven Years’ War, this New World conflict marked another chapter in the long imperial struggle between Britain and France. When France’s expansion into the Ohio River valley brought repeated conflict with the claims of the British colonies, a series of battles led to the official British declaration of war in 1756. Boosted by the financing of future Prime Minister William Pitt, the British turned the tide with victories at Louisbourg, Fort Frontenac and the French-Canadian stronghold of Quebec. At the 1763 peace conference, the British received the territories of Canada from France and Florida from Spain, opening the Mississippi Valley to westward expansion. hope this helps

The english revivalist who preached to thousands and so impressed benjamin franklin was: select one:
nadezda [96]

Correct answer:  C. George Whitefield

George Whitefield (1714-1770) was one of the early leaders of the Methodist movement in England, and also came and preached in the American colonies.  During his career, he preached tens of thousands of sermons, with millions of people having heard him preach.  Ben Franklin was one of those who heard him preach and was impressed.  Christianity.com reports that Franklin offered to print Whitefield's sermons and provided housing to Whitefield in Philadelphia above his shop on Market Street.   Franklin wasn't a full "convert" to Whitefield's religious perspective, but he did have great respect for the work Whitefield did.
