Both poems were pubished on the same decade, the 1920's, where there was the ascension of two American music genres, the blues and the jazz, from the Black community to mainstream apreciation later. The poems express the sensations of the subjects hearing the music, and characterize the sounds or musical representations that are being played.

Jazz Fantasia was written by Carl Sandburg and published in 1920. The weary blues was written by Langston Hughes and  published in 1926.

So, the right answer would be b. involve musical art forms.

Read these sentences from a famous speech made by President Roosevelt in 1941.
Sati [7]

Answer:

The attack on Pearl Harbor.

Explanation:

The given speech is quoted from the "Infamy Speech" given by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941 after the unprovoked attack by the Empire of Japan on the United States' military base in Pearl Harbor. This speech also signals the involvement of the United States into the Second World War.

The surprise attack on the United States by the Japanese troops even while still in conversation with each other led to the "immediate' declaration of war on Japan by the US. This further propels the nation to be involved in the Second World war, and also signals an end in the US-Japan relationship.
