The correct answers are B) finding suitable landfill locations. C) groundwater pollution. E) soil pollution.

The problems that are caused by solid waste disposal are the following: finding suitable landfill locations, groundwater pollution, and soil pollution.

That is why the federal, state and local governments have to enforce the proper kind of legislation that stops the pollution of the land. And not only the land as in this case but pollution of air, and pollution of water. Climate change or global warming is creating difficult conditions -weather conditions- that also affect pollution and the conservation of the environment.

Identify the four types of seismic waves. How do each of these waves behave as they travel through the Earth?
Oksana_A [137]

Compressional or P (for primary) , Transverse or S (for secondary) , Love, and Rayleigh. Primary waves push and pull the ground in the direction the wave is traveling. Secondary waves travel in the same direction, but they shake the ground back and forth perpendicular to the direction the wave is traveling. Love waves move back and forth horizontally. Rayleigh waves cause both vertical and horizontal ground motion.

"You see a rock on campus. It is a big white boulder, and you look closer. You see a salt and pepper appearance. You look closer
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

igneous rock

Explanation:

There are three main kinds of rocks, sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous.

The igneous rocks are the ones that formed from a hot source like magma inside the soil, as it gets to the surface of the Earth it goes cooling. If it cools almost in the surface of the Earth then is consider a plutonic rock.

Plutonic Rocks have a big quantity of minerals, since they cool under a big pressure, these minerals get together forming a solid rock.

By passing the time the granites of minerals can be easily seen at naked eye, like the characteristics of these sample.
