Answer:

Total space in the box is 75.2 cm³.

Step-by-step explanation:

Cone:

  • It is three dimension shape.
  • It has a vertex.
  • The slant height of a cone l^2=r^2+h^2, l= slant height, r= radius of the base, h= height
  • The lateral surface area is πrl
  • The volume of a cone is \frac13 \pi r^2h.

The artificial carrot that are cone shaped with a radius 1 cm and a height of 6 cm.

So, the volume of the cone is =\frac13 \pi r^2h

                                                =\frac13 \pi (1)^2.6

                                                =2\pi cm³

The volume 1 dozen carrots is = (12×2π) cm³

                                                  =75.4 cm³

The volume of the box= The volume of the 1 dozen carrot.

Total space in the box is 75.2 cm³.

Let F(X) = x^2-16x+71. What is the vertex and minimum value of F(X)?
LekaFEV [45]
The veretx is normally the minimum value
hack:
for f(x)=ax²+bx+c
the x value of the vertex is -b/2a
so
f(x)=1x²-16x+71
x value is -(-16)/(2*1)=16/2=8
find f(8) to find y value of vertex

f(8)=8²-16(8)+71
f(8)=64-128+71
f(8)=7

the vertex is (8,7)
the minimum value is 7

Answer:

Sum of Interior Angles = 900°

One Interior Angle = 128.57°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the figure is a Heptagon (a 7 sided polygon), therefore;

→ As by the formula of (n - 2) * 180° we can find the sum of the interior angles;

=> (n - 2) * 180 = Sum of Interior Angles

=> (7 - 2) * 180 = Sum of Interior Angles

=> 5 * 180 = Sum of Interior Angles

=> 900° = Sum of Interior Angles

Now that we know the sum of interior angles,

→ We can find 1 interior angle by dividing the sum by the number of sides in the polygon.

=> Sum of Interior Angles / n = One Interior Angle

=> 900 / 7 = One Interior Angle

=> 128.57° = One Interior Angle

Hope this helps!
