In photography what wavelengths do we perceive as dark purple violet?

Within the visible light of the electromagnetic spectrum are still more wavelengths. Each wavelength is perceived by our eyes as a different color. The shorter wavelengths of visible light are violet — we might call them purple. Then as the wavelengths get longer and longer, the visible light changes in color to blue, green, yellow, orange, and finally the longest, which is red.

Some animals can see waveslengths of light that humans cannot. Those waveslengths would be just outside the edges of human visible light. For example, insects can see ultraviolet waves — waves just before purple on the electromagnetic spectrum. But we are not able to see these. At the same time, there are colors of red that insects are unable to see, but that humans can.

Hope this helps :)

What is true about the sketch of a design?
saul85 [17]
Okay, I’m going to help you a little here. The answer is D. “Proportions don’t matter when it comes to the first design of a sketch.” If you think about it, it won’t ever be proportional. Just like a first draft of a paper, it will never be perfect for the first try. When sketching, proportions are for the later steps, and not to focus on when your sketching out your first image.

For your bonus question, “Sketches differ with different clothing and designers.” Is definitely true. The sketches and designs will differ for each person, and will never be an exact replica.

Which of the lines are not a main type of line in Hockney' self portrait
lawyer [7]
Stylistically, the British artist David Hockney has been described as having roots in pop art, using highly graphic style referential to that of advertising. Linearly his mark-making is quite clean and sharp; examples of line type are contour lines and cross contour lines, which may come in the form of vertical, horizontal, curved, zigzag; Hockney uses throughout his art an array of these lines to create different effects.

Alika [10]

Answer:

Tony is reflecting on the baseball game that he just attended, wishing that he had remembered his camera. He recalls the final inning when his

favorite team was down by several runs, three batters were on base, and a mediocre hitter was at bat. After the pitch was thrown, the hitter hit a

huge home run bringing all the batters home and winning the game. Everyone was cheering and jumping up and down and hugging. If Tony had

remembered his camera, what specific moment should he have snapped a photo of if he wanted to capture the most critical point of the game?
