Answer:

Each share worth is $2.59

Explanation:

According to the given data we have the following:

D1 = Cash Flow at the end of year 1 = $ 10 million

r = Cost of Capital = 10% = 0.1

g = perpetual growth of cash flows

Hence, The present value of Cash Flows = D1/(r-g)

= 10/(0.1-0.03)

=10/0.07

= $ 142.8571428571 million

= $ 142.86 million

To find the equity value we need to remove the net debt from cash flows

Net Debt = Debt - Cash

= 22 - 8.5

= $ 13.5 million

Now net cash flows = Cash Flows - Net Debt

= 142.86 - 13.5

= $ 129.36 million

Therefore, each share worth = Present Value of Cash Flow / No of Outstanding Shares

= 129.36 / 50 (Both values are in millions so the zeros are ignored)

= 2.5872

= $2.59

Each share worth is $2.59

astraxan [27]

Solution and Explanation:

(a). Firm in perfect competition produces at minimum efficient scale, MEC where average cost AC is minimum. The price is determined by the market supply and demand.

(b) Note that q1 is at the minimum of AC while Q* is to the left of q1. Similarly, P1 is equal to MC while P* is higher than MC. This shows that firms in perfect competition produce more and charge less than the firms in monopolistically competitive market.

(c) All firms in monopolistically competitive market as well as perfectly competitive market earn zero economic profit in the long run. This is because there is a free entry and exit

(d) Demand is steeper for firms in monopolistically competitive market so that demand is elastic. Demand is horizontal for any quantity which means it is perfectly elastic for a firm in competitive market.

Co. paid a $0.632 dividend per share in 2013, which grew to $0.76 in 2016. This growth is expected to continue. What is the valu
loris [4]

Answer:

$34.22

Explanation:

The computation is shown below:

Value of the stock = Next year dividend ÷ (Required rate of return - growth rate)

where,

Growth rate equal to

= {($0.76 ÷ $0.632)^1 ÷ 3} - 1

= 6.34%

And, Next year dividend would be

= $0.76 × (1 + 6.34%)

= $0.81

So, the value of the stock would equal to

= 0.81% ÷ (8.70% - 6.34%)

= $34.22
