Which sentence contains an example clue that helps the reader understand the meaning of “frugal”? We were very frugal, very care

ful to save our money and not to spend too much. Our frugal lifestyle included clipping coupons and waiting for sales before shopping. Raised to be economical with the money we earned, we all went on to lead frugal lives. Our friends spent whatever they earned wastefully, but we were frugal with our salaries.

I think the answer would be, "Our frugal lifestyle included clipping coupons and waiting for sales before shopping.", because Frugal basically means sparing with regard to money.

Which line from "On Becoming an Inventor" supports the idea that Dean's time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute was very useful
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

The line which supports the idea that Dean's time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute was very useful even if he did not graduate is:

I found that at college I could get help from my teachers with solving business problems and in learning new techniques for designing new things.

Explanation:

"I found that at college I could get help from my teachers with solving business problems and in learning new techniques for designing new things."

According to the line above, Dean learned a lot from teachers. They helped him and offered him the knowledge he needed. We know he did not graduate, but it is clear that those teachers had an impact in what he was able to do as an inventor. After all, they did help him with "solving business problems and in learning new techniques for designing new things." Therefore, his time at the Institute was still useful due to the knowledge and help he received.

In a research paper, what should be in quotation marks?
Mumz [18]
The correct answer is: Any language taken directly from the source.

In a research paper, anything that is taken directly from a source should be placed inside quotation marks. This way, you are acknowledging that you cited some sources and these are not you're own words. It will help you avoid plagiarism as well.
