Which sentence in the passage should be revised for wordiness
posledela

Answer:

I've re-typed it and correcting run-on sentences, spelling errors, and deleted some words that didn't add anything but ust sounded messy.

Explanation:

Have you ever wondered what's in your water?  For many people in cities and towns across America, the water is fluoridated.  Fluoridation is the process in which fluoride is added to the water supplies.  Fluoride makes teeth stronger, much less likely to develop cavities, and less likely to excess plaque buildup.  Fluorides are compounds that contain the mineral, fluorite, which is found in the earth.  Almost all water naturally contains some level of fluoride, however, some areas have naturally higher levels of fluoride in their water.Scientists in the 1920's found that people who drank water with more fluoride had fewer cavities.

Today, more than half of the tap water used in the United States is fluoridated.  The decision to fluoridate is left up to individual cities.  When communities decide whether or not to fluoridate the water supply, it can become controversial because some people claim there is a link between fluoride and health problems.  Still, others argue there is not enough evidence to support this claim.
