netineya [11]

Above the troposphere lies the stratosphere where jet airplanes fly. Temperatures increase with altitude because of increasing amounts of ozone. The ozone layer within the stratosphere absorbs harmful ultraviolet rays of sunlight. As the mesosphere extends upward above the stratosphere, temperatures decrease.

_____ is the process by which two populations of the same species living in the same habitat diverge into separate species. Symp
sammy [17]

Answer:

Allopatric speciation- speciation in different places.

Explanation:

This is the process by which two populations of organisms of the same species in the same  habitats are   geographically  isolated or separated from one another,  by natural means,(floods, earthquakes,).

The  selective pressures in their two new habitats acted on them for long time to the extent that  their physiological,(body functions) morphological( body structures) and behavioural characteristics changed making them to emerged as new species.

If these two populations meets after years they will  find it difficult to interbreed. Therefore the  type of speciation which emerged through a Geographical isolation like this is called  ALLOPATRIC SPECIATION.
