Industrial cities began to come up with the introduction of industrialization in countries like Britain, America, and other parts of Europe. Factories and industries came into existence. Majority of the rural people moved out of their county side and moved to cities to find a  job along with better opportunity to start a new life. The moving of the rural population in the cities led to the rise of urbanization.

Industrial cities began to develop because of new technologies and ideas and in order for the factories to grow larger, they needed more workers so the  the unemployed people had those opportunities to work there.
