Social movement is a common phenomenon in any society, often times in moderator society, and its purpose is to challenge the political ideals of those in power. It is normally organized the individual or group of individuals who considered themselves as political outsiders and seek for radical changes.

On the other hand, supportive environment for social movement, is basically an environment who are more receptive to the ideaologies of the social movement.

Hence, what it means to have a supportive environment for the rise of a social movement, is an environment who are have been yearning for social changes, often times, oppressed, depressed and / or of low economical society or environment who are seeking for better fortune, or changes that can better the life of people in the area.

For example, the blacks community in this current Black Lives Matter Movement, where the death of George Floyd triggered response of long history of oppression and violence against the black and poor community in the United States and around the globe.
