Answer:

b. denied unions recognition as legally protected groups.

Explanation:

During times of labor unrest, the federal government supported employers by denying unions recognition as legally protected groups. Labor unions are associations of workers that act as a legal representant for employees in matters of law. By not recognizing unions as legally protected groups, the government allowed employers to provide less rights and benefits to their employees, thus making a business more profitable.

What name is given to the combined countries of norway, sweden, finland, and iceland?
solmaris [256]
The name your looking for would be the "Nordic" countries.  "Norden" simply means "the North," and these are countries in the northernmost section of the European continent and adjacent islands.

The languages of most Nordic countries have their roots in Old Norse, a north Germanic language spoken in those regions around the 9th to 13th centuries.  So today we have Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic and other Nordic languages.  Finnish (spoken in Finland) is actually a language that has roots from elsewhere, from the Uralic family of languages.

how did the U.S treat Native Americans as westward expansion moved forward and should this treatment be considered genocide? (ha
Effectus [21]

The U.S. treated Native Americans inhumane. The expansion caused the U.S. to take over their land, and forced them to move across west. It was called The Trail Of Tears, due to around 4,000 of them (Cherokee) dying, before even reaching their destination. Death was caused by hunger, disease, and hypothermia. There are now only few people who are Natives today. You can use this information to determine rather or not it should be considered genocide.
