In A Way, Populism did provide an exit strategy from Plantationism & Capitalism.

It Provided an Effective set of solutions which were never implemented to the nations poor people without resources of their own problems.
the problems in the USA was always a vicious right wing corportatcracy willing to malign or even physically assassinate populist, american communists, to keep everything same.
