HELP ASAP!! BRAINLIST AND 10+5 POINTS What was the Alien and Sedition Acts in four sentences?

History

Answer:

The Alien and Sedition Acts were 4 laws passed by Congress in 1798. The main purpose of these 4 laws was to restrict the activities of foreign residents, including their freedom of speech. However, after a series of debates and the Alien and Sedition Acts being deemed unconstitutional, by 1802, all of the Alien and Sedition Acts were either repealed or had expired.

This is based off of what I remember when I learned this and from some information I read from History.com. If this is for a school assignment of some sort, be careful so you don't get in trouble for plagiarism.

Sorry it's 3 sentences instead of 4 :P

Which of the following was a consequence loyalists suffered for their beliefs and continued loyalty to the British?
Evgesh-ka [11]

Loyalists were people who believed that the British should rule the new found land and did not like the idea of independence. For that matter, loyalists were sometimes beaten up by gangs who would go and find the people who were loyal to the crown and harass them. But for the most part, loyalists usually kept quiet most of the time, and tried to say little to nothing about politics in order to keep their thoughts as private as possible in order to not let anyone find out what they really thought about who should rule. At the end, most of the loyalists fled the U.S. to Canada, and others left to different countries ruled by the British.

Historical events that contributed to the army jrotc
MrMuchimi
It started with the National defence act in 1919. Which allowed the school to loan equipment from the military. This also gave them access to military personal. Then the vitalization act of 1964 replaced the active military personal with retired ones. It also added the other branches of the military not just the airforce.
