<span>5(3a-1)-2(3a+2)=3(a+2)+v
15a-5-6a-4=3a+6+v
9a-9=3a+6+v
9a-15=3a+v
6a-15=v or 3(2a-5)
so the answers are D,E
SORRY I GOT THE OTHER WRONG!

So we simplify this and do
5(3a-1)-2(3a+2)=3(a+2)+v
15a-5-6a-4=3a+6+v
add like terms
9a-9=3a+6+v
subtract 6 from both sides and get
9a-15=3a+v
subtract 3a from both sides and get
6a-15=v or 3(2a-5)
so the answers are D,E

or if you want to avoid doing allot of math, you could just figure out which two answer choices are the same (D,E)

A phone company offers two monthly plans. Plan A costs $25 plus an additional $0.07 for each minute of calls. Plan B costs $16 p
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

1) For 450 minutes of calling the two plans cost the same.

2) The cost when the two plans cost the same is $56.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost of both plans can be modeled by linear functions.

Plan A:

$25 plus an additional $0.07 for each minute of calls.

So, for t minutes of calls, the cost is:

A(t) = 25 + 0.07t

Plan B:

$16 plus an additional $0.09 for each minute of calls.

So, for t minutes of calls, the cost is:

B(t) = 16 + 0.09t

Q1: For what amount of calling do the two plans cost the same?

This is t for which:

A(t) = B(t)

25 + 0.07t = 16 + 0.09t

0.02t = 9

t = \frac{9}{0.02}

t = 450

For 450 minutes of calling the two plans cost the same.

Q2: What is the cost when the two plans cost the same?

This is A(450) or B(450), since they are the same.

B(450) = 16 + 0.09*450 = 56.5

The cost when the two plans cost the same is $56.5.

If ∠Q measures 18°, ∠R measures 135°, and q equals 9.5, then which length can be found using the Law of Sines?
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

r

Step-by-step explanation:

Since r is not given, the length we can be find using the Law of Sines using is length r.

The Sine formula or the Law of Sines

q/Sine Q = r/Sine R

q=9.5

r is the unknown

9.5/Sine 18° = r/ Sine 135°
