∠P = 6x + 6

∠Q = 2x + 11

∠R = 2x + 3

    ∠P   +    ∠Q     +     ∠R    = 180

(6x + 6) + (2x + 11) + (2x + 3) = 180

                              10x + 20 = 180

                                        10x = 160

                                           x = 16

∠Q = 2x + 11   = 2(16) + 11   = 32 + 11   = 43

Answer: 43°

A rectangular garden is divided into two sections as shown.
azamat

Step-by-step explanation:

Pythagoras (for right-angled triangles) :

c² = a² + b²

c being the Hypotenuse, the side opposite of the right angle. and that would be here the diagonal.

c = diagonal = 10 ft

therefore, the width of the rectangle is 10/2 = 5 ft

10² = 5² + b²

100 = 25 + b²

b² = 75

b = length = sqrt(75) = 8.660254038... ft

In triangle ABC centriod D is on median AM. AD=×+3and DM= 2x-1 find AM
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

7

Step-by-step explanation:

The centroid divides the median in a 2:1 ratio. Therefore,

    AD = 2DM

x + 3 = 2(2x - 1)     Remove parentheses

x + 3 = 4x – 2       Add 2 to each side

x + 5 = 4x             Subtract x from each side

   3x = 5               Divide each side by 3

     x = ⁵/₃

AM = AD + DM

      = (x + 3) + (2x – 1)

      = 3x + 2     Substitute the value of x

      = 3 × ⁵/₃ + 2

      = 5 + 2

      = 7

Length of median AM = 7.

How to you find the acsess of symmetry in a equation ex Y=a(x-h)=k
eimsori [14]

Answer:

In an equation y = a(x - h) + k, the axis of symmetry will be x = h. This is because (h, k) is the vertex, and the parabola will be symmetric on both sides of the vertex.

Where in real life do you work with radical expressions and functions? Give an example of your own.
snow_lady [41]
Best Answer: A radical expression is any expression or equation that contains a square root. The square root symbol indicates the number inside is a radical. The number inside the square root is called the radicand. Variable numbers can also be radical expressions.

Example: √x+y

√16

12+√x

√3*x²
