f(x) = x – 1
and 
g(x) = 2x - 2,
because when you double both of the terms of x - 1, you have to multiply each of the terms by two
so
g(x)=2*[x-1]------> g(x)=2x-2

How does the graph of g(x) compare to the graph of f(x)?
f(x)=x-1
slope m=1  and y-intercept is -1

g(x)=2x-2
slope m=2  and y-intercept is -2

so
