For copy of AB, (call it A'B').
Draw a line approximately horizontal in the space provided.
Use a pencil to mark the left end and call it A'.
Put the compass (a math tool, not the one that shows north in the woods) point at A, and stretch the pencil end to match B.
Now move the compass point to A' and use the pencil to mark on the line you drew the point B'.
That's it.  A'B' is a copy of AB.

Do the same for CD and EF.
