Many people sincerely thought that Martin Luther's ideas and Lutheranism were the best ways to reform for church corruption. However, there were also people who supported him only because they wanted to gain control of valuable church property.

Who wrote the Spiritual Exercises?
musickatia [10]

The Spiritual Exercises were written by the Spanish theologian St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556), the founder of the Society of Jesus, a Roman Catholic order of religious men. St. Ignatius wrote this set of prayers, meditations, and contemplative practices for the members of his order, the Jesuits, to be completed in stages in the course of four weeks, but the increasing interest in the spirituality of St. Ignatius has led many lay people to practice them as well. One of the most interesting practices in the Exercises, which are in part aimed at bringing people to a personal encounter with Jesus, is the so-called "composition of place," which encourages people to engage with all their senses in the subject of their meditation, to place themselves in the actual scene - be it the Last Supper or Jesus' resurrection, for instance.

The Spiritual Exercises were first published in 1548.

Answer:

The correct answer is B

When the British Parliament tried to impose new taxes on the American colonies, the colonists became very angry about it, especially because of the quantity of taxes, and the quantities levied in those new taxes.

They responded with protests, riots, and even boycotts to English products, the most famous case being tea, which was blocked from entering the city of Boston, in one of the many episodes that sparked the American Revolution.
