Please help! <br> i have no clue what to do!!
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

If you look up “Four 4s Challenge” on yt you should find a couple videos explaining it! i just watched a little bit of one so i’ll try and help now though.

I’ll do 1-5 for you and try my best to explain :)) and if you need more answers or more help just let me know

So first, we need to find out how to get 1 using four 4s

1. (4/4)/(4/4)

this would read “four divided by four divided by four divided by four” which equals 1

2. 4/4+4/4

3. (4+4+4)/4

4. 4*(4-4)+4

5. (4*4+4)/4

Remember that you’ve gotta use an equation with just four 4s to get to every number

TRUE OR FALSE: FOR ANY FUNCTION, X=F^-1(Y), THEN Y=F(X). PLEASE EXPLAIN
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:

True.

Step-by-step explanation:

For example let f(x) = 3x + 1  then f-1(x)  is found as follows

Let f(x) = y = 3x + 1 then

3x = y - 1

x = (y-1) / 3

x = f-1(x) = (x - 1)/3.

So:

Replacing the x  in y by (x - 1)/3 :-

x = f(-1)(y) = ( (3x + 1) - 1) / 3

= 3x / 3

= x.

So y = f(x).

Find the value of x such that the data set has the given mean 98, 122, 106, 112, 106, x; mean 114
Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

140

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean=\frac{sum of datas}{number of data's}\\\\\frac{98+122+106+112+106+x}{6}=114\\\\\frac{544+x}{6}=114\\\\544+x=114*6\\\\544+x=684\\\\x=684-544\\\\x=140\\
