aleksandrvk [35]

Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States from 1969 to 1974. He is the only US president in history to have resigned from office. This was due to the Watergate Scandal, which was the release of tapes that involved the Nixon Administration incurring in unethical acts in order to gain political advantage over the Democrats. These practices included the use of espionage tactics and harassment over opposing political figures. As a response to an imminent impeachment and removal from office, President Nixon decided to resign.

Explain why Lewis references his age, and then explain
bixtya [17]

Lewis makes reference to his age to pass on the notion of experience, experience and passage of time, showing us how time passes quickly and how we only have one life, which makes our time limited.

Fear can cause an imaginary arrest because it limits us and often, it can prevent us from doing what we want, limiting the achievement of our goals and depriving us of a good life, as if we are stuck. An example of this in my life refers to my fear of being a nuisance and of being rejected that prevents me from making friends with people and even talking with old friends, leaving me trapped in an imaginary solitary prison.

prohojiy [21]

Answer:

Venice

Explanation:

During the Middle Ages, Venice became very wealthy thanks to trade with the East. Due to its location in the center of the Mediterranean Sea and its status as an independent state, Venice had access to the Markets of the Byzantine Empire and Eastern Europe. But it was the conquest of Constantinople and the Crusades in the Middle East which granted it access to the markets and trade networks of Asia, including the Silk Road, India, and China. This way, the Republic of Venice became an important commercial empire in Europe and also a relevant naval power in the Mediterranean Sea since the development of the Venetian naval industry with commercial goals.
