So I readied myself for the full impact that a first day of school would bring. However, I was surprised when I quickly learned everything about the school. I even made new friends in record time. For the first time, I felt that I was a part of a school and that I belonged to a community. My time at MacArthur Middle School was one of the happiest times in my life. A.
